BRADMAN LIBRARY

Background

​The Bradman Library, founded in 1989, contains a varied and comprehensive repository of cricket and sporting books along with a significant number of reference materials.

 

Location

​The library is located upstairs in the pavilion building on the historical grounds of the Bradman Oval, in Sir Donald Bradman’s hometown of Bowral in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia.

​

Accessibility Notice

We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all visitors. Unfortunately, our library is located on the upper level of the Bradman Pavillion and is currently not wheelchair accessible, which may present challenges for visitors with mobility impairments.

Collection

The library houses a large, printed collection of Sir Donald Bradman AC related publications, along with a comprehensive Wisden collection. The library’s collection is available to view either in person during library opening hours or via our online catalogue and aims to act as a curated national and international source of information on Sir Donald Bradman AC, as well as Australian and international cricket publications.

Personal access for reference or research within library hours or via appointment.

​

Research and reference access is free for members.

​

For non-members there is a fee of $15.00 a day (minimum charge) to access the collection.

​

A research facility conducted by library staff (fees apply). Please contact the library for a quotation.
