In keeping with Sir Donald Bradman's wishes, Bradman Oval has seen hundreds of kids, of varying ages, enjoy and learn the skills of the game.

The Bradman Foundation has operated cricket coaching clinics for 21 years, instructing young cricketers to forge a life-long association in our national game. Our goal is to provide skills not only in the technical and physical requirements of cricket but also the mental and tactical elements with strong emphasis on ‘the spirit of the game.’

We are now offering coaching opportunities in major NSW centres including the Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Riverina, Bega Valley and the Southern Highlands.

Our vision is to educate all cricketers, regardless of skill, to pass on their knowledge to ongoing generations. We instil values to play the game with courage, honour, humility, integrity and determination as evidenced in Sir Donald’s words and deeds.

The Foundation’s CA accredited Level 3 and Level 2 head coaching staff, will incorporate local Level 1 assistants to help further their abilities and coaching skills by working directly with the clinic participants. We also seek to support local clubs and associations by subsidising all clinic sustenance.

In conjunction with the local Cricket Clubs or Associations, clinics are being run during school holidays in July, September, October, December and January 2011.

Format: Three full days of coaching with practical and theory sessions on all aspects of the game. Sessions on Bradman’s historical record, the laws and spirit of cricket, scoring and correct practice procedures are included. Historic DVD’s of the Bradman era will be shown during breaks.

Clinics are aimed at cricketers of all standards and abilities.
