Sixers beat Delhi in warm up match

The Sydney Sixers beat the Delhi Daredevils in their CLT20 warm up match at Centurion, Thursday, 12 October 2012.

Both teams bowled the full 20 overs even though Delhi were bowled out for just 92 runs in the 17th over. They went on to post a total of 109 after the 20 overs with Pieterson and Chad batting twice.

Sydney reached 93 runs with 2 overs to spare and 5 wickets in hand, and went on to post a 20 over total of 137.

Starc was a stand out with the ball taking all three of his wickets in his first over. Hazlewood, who opened the bowling, also took a wicket in his first over, with Cummins and Henriques following suit with first over wickets.

Steve Smith was fantastic in the field claiming two run outs and taking a catch proving again why he is of the best fielders in Australia.

With the bat Shane Watson got the Sixers off to a great start, caught out for 29 with Moises Henriques maintaining his outstanding form with 46no.
