#HOWZAT KIDS WILL BOWL YOU OVER

The Bradman Centre will be holding some exciting events for the kids these July school holidays. The Raiders of the Vault debuted in April this year and proved to be a great success.

Executive Director Rina Hore stated, “The Howzat kids activities are family friendly and are for everyone as, it’s about showing that heritage is fun! The from The Vault show had the adults in stitches of laughter, and the Skills and Thrills Zone challenged even the most athletic punter. The activities are designed to engage kids of all ages in handling precious treasures from The Vault and become a Heritage Raider.”

Visitors are actually encouraged to play cricket inside the museum in the Skills Zone.

Rina Hore said, “In an ever-changing national and global society, cricket has remained a constant in the Aussie way of life. At the Bradman Centre we use cricket to teach Australia’s social history and we are passionate about passing this knowledge to future generations. Our engaging talks and demonstrations focus on bringing the artifacts to life during school holiday performances.”

Ms Hore added, the heritage team at Bradman are great teachers and storytellers. “Donning the persona of Heritage Raiders, our team teaches about our society, sport and about being Australian in a fun adventurous way, in a world-class environment: Children and grown-ups can explore the museum, enjoy a super show put on by our Heritage Keeper, and receive hands-on experience, up close and personal with our collection treasures, as a ‘Heritage Raider’.”

Daily shows throughout the holidays – Monday to Friday (11am to 2pm) including movies, giveaways and photo opportunities and certificates to take home.
Adults $ 20, Children $ 11 , Family Ticket for 5 $ 55 and includes all–day museum admission entry.

Don’t forget there is delicious food at our on-site Stumps Cafe! Perfect escape for mum, whilst the kids are being entertained.
