Wicket-keeper Peter Nevill will tomorrow become the 115th person to captain a NSW First Class team when the Blues take on Queensland in the Bupa Sheffield Shield at the SCG.

Nevill, who has previously captained the NSW Blues in the Ryobi Cup and was in charge of the CA Invitational X1 that took on England last week, will take the field with a side that has several changes due to the first Ashes Test match starting today.

Out of the twelve go Brad Haddin, Steve Smith, David Warner, Nathan Lyon and Ben Dwarshuis (who acted as 12th man).

They are replaced by Peter Nevill, Kurtis Patterson, Ryan Carters and Ben Rohrer (all of whom represented the Invitational X1 while NSW were playing Queensland), plus a returning Doug Bollinger.

The squad is:
Peter Nevill (Captain)
Sean Abbott
Doug Bollinger
Ryan Carters
Trent Copeland
Moises Henriques
Scott Henry
Nic Maddinson
Steve O’Keefe
Kurtis Patterson
Ben Rohrer
Gurinder Sandhu
