Cricket New South Wales CEO Andrew Jones is aware of the opportunity the World Cup offers: “The ICC Cricket World Cup is back in Australia for the first time in 22 years and is now just a year away. We know that cricket fans are looking forward to the SCG hosting three pool matches, a quarter-final and a semi final. Tickets are very affordable, particularly for families, with children’s tickets available for every match at the SCG. All children’s tickets for the pool stage are $5 and prices for adults start from just $20. Sydney cricket fans can, therefore, buy any combination of tickets and have the flexibility to build their own ICC Cricket World Cup experience.”
“Sydney has a diverse community, which is passionate about cricket and we will be working hard to ensure that the fans can follow their teams, attend matches and play a major part in this event.”
