Moises Henriques returns for NSW Blues

All-rounder Moises Henriques returns to the NSW Blues squad for their final Bupa Sheffield Shield match before Xmas, when they take on the South Australian Redbacks at the SCG, starting on Sunday (8 December).

Henriques, who missed the previous win over Tasmania with a groin strain, will re-join a 12 man squad that also includes Sydney off-spinner Manjot Singh.

Josh Hazlewood was not considered for selection as he is still recovering from shin soreness, while Doug Bollinger has been put on stand-by for the Perth Test.

The Blues currently sit on top of the Shield table, two points clear of the Redbacks after five matches.

They have two of the most in-form players in the country in Ryan Carters and Stephen O’Keefe. Carters, is in outstanding form having scored hundreds in his last two Shield matches, while O’Keefe is the joint highest wicket-taker in the country, alongside Johan Botha, with 21 scalps.
