Healy and Blackwell back to dominate Women’s Grade cricket

Alyssa Healy and Alex Blackwell brought superb recent World Cup winning form to Grade cricket over the weekend, with both recording centuries.

Blackwell, scored an unbeaten 104 as Universities hammered Northern District, while Healy also smashed the same score as Sydney were way too strong for St George-Sutherland.

Overall, it was a good weekend for Lend Lease Breakers players, with Lisa Sthalekar and Sarah Aley picking up two wickets each and Angela Reakes (74) and Leah Poulton (80) scoring important runs.

Results from the weekend mean that the draw for the Sydney Women’s Grade Semi-Finals on Sunday 17 March 2013 is:

Universities v Campbelltown-Camden – Venue TBC

Bankstown Sports v Northern District – Venue TBC

*This will be Northern Districts first semi-final of the overall premiership. They made the T20 semi-finals this year, but play was washed out.
