Speedster Josh Hazlewood will return for the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues against South Australia this weekend in the Ryobi One Day Cup match starting on Saturday at Adelaide Oval.

Hazlewood will play for the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues for the first time since February 2010, after suffering from stress fractures of the back.

Left-arm spinner Luke Doran has also been named in the one-day side. With Stephen O’Keefe and Steven Smith in South Africa with the Australian T20 squad, and Nathan Hauritz continuing rehabilitation from his shoulder re-construction, Doran will make his Ryobi Cup debut in this fixture. His one previous match for the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues was the KFC Big Bash Final against South Australia last season in Adelaide.

Ben Rohrer will captain the side in the absence of Stephen O’Keefe.

The squad is :
Ben Rohrer ( Captain )
Trent Copeland
Luke Doran
Josh Hazlewood
Moises Henriques
Phil Hughes
Phil Jaques
Simon Katich
Usman Khawaja
Nicolas Maddinson
Peter Nevill

For the BUPA Sheffield Shield match against the same opponents starting on Monday (17 October), Hazlewood will make way for all-rounder Sean Abbott. It will be a First-class debut for the Parramatta all-rounder, who has already performed well in one-day cricket for New South Wales. Another change will see left-arm wrist spinner Beau Casson replace Doran in the squad. Casson’s last outing for the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues was the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria at the MCG in February, where he performed strongly, taking 4-56 in the first innings.
