Bradman Gala Dinner 2011
The annual Bradman Gala Dinner has become a much-anticipated event on the Australian sporting calendar. This year it promises to be even bigger and better than previous years.
The dinner will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday 26 October 2011.
The evening begins at 6pm with canapés and drinks served at the hallowed turf of Sydney Cricket Ground, followed by a gourmet three-course meal and wines in the Gujarat NRE SCG Indoor Centre.
Bradman Foundation Patron Richie Benaud OBE will share his recollections as he introduces and pays tribute to the 2011 Bradman Honourees.
Your MCs for this black tie event, Michael Slater and Mark Taylor, will conduct a light hearted interview with the honourees as part of an evening of cricket celebration acknowledging the legacy of Sir Donald Bradman.
Former Australian Captain and Coach, Bob Simpson AO will be honoured along with Sir Richard Hadlee, arguably New Zealand’s finest cricketer.
