Another concert, another title theme, and another wonderful selection of songs brought to you by Serendipity the Choir. This concert series is entitled “It takes Two”, which of course means a number of the songs are for or about ‘two’, but by no means all!
Featured in the programme are pieces by Gilbert and Sullivan, Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, settings of the Lord’s Prayer by Fanshawe and Handl, motets by Crocker and di Lasso, one or two spirituals, some popular pieces from the swing era and the programme also features special guest Sydney soprano, Nicole Thomson. And again, as usual there is really something for everyone.
