An Exhibition of stunning landscapes by local artist Don Talintrye will be opening at the Light Horse Gallery in Robertson on Friday April 13, 2012 at 5.30pm. Twenty Five original works, mostly painted ‘en plein air’ whilst on a painting trip with a fellow artist to the Flinders Ranges in South Australia, will be on show for two weeks until Sunday April 29. Don Talintyre has been painting for many years in oils and acrylics and has won numerous awards including Fishers Ghost Prize, Glover Landscape Prize and the Mosman Art Prize. In 2005 Don founded the Plein-Air Painting Group of the Highlands which meets weekly to paint in different locations around the district. Come to the opening and meet the artist, whilst enjoying a glass of wine and viewing these beautiful works.
