With a compelling series of historical photographs and railway objects the exhibition demonstrates how railways were once the cutting edge of invention and innovation since the first locomotive hauled the first train.
A highlight event is on Sunday 22 April, when three guest lecturers will share their insights into areas of railway innovation.
