NSW Blues batsman Daniel Hughes has travelled with the team to Adelaide to act as cover for Ben Rohrer.

The left-handed Hughes, who had scores of 63 and 102 against Queensland in the Futures League in Brisbane last week, will remain with the team until tomorrow to check on the fitness of Rohrer, who was struck on the head by a bouncer in the match against Victoria last week, but had recovered sufficiently to travel with the team.

The Blues take on the Redbacks in a Day-Night Shield match starting at 2pm at Adelaide Oval tomorrow.

The squad is:

Ryan CARTERS
Harry CONWAY
Scott HENRY
Daniel HUGHES
Josh LALOR
Nicholas LARKIN
Stephen O’KEEFE
Kurtis PATTERSON
Ben ROHRER
Gurinder SANDHU
