Cricket NSW offers free entry at the SCG

Cricket New South Wales has thrown the gates open at the Sydney Cricket Ground for the final two days of the current Bupa Sheffield Shield match, offering free entry to any spectators that attend the game tomorrow or on Sunday.

The match, which sees the NSW SpeedBlitz Blues taking on the XXXX Gold Queensland Bulls, was affected by rain yesterday with the home side having reached 4-207 at stumps.

With Steven Smith (40no) and Brad Haddin (10no), starting afresh today, there is the promise of some great action over the next three days. The NSW SpeedBlitz Blues feature Australian representatives of the calibre of Phillip Hughes, Usman Khawaja, Mitchell Starc and Simon Katich, while a strong Queensland side contains James Hopes, Ryan Harris and Ben Cutting.

Play will start at 10-30 am over the next two days and go through to a scheduled finish time of 7pm.

Spectators wishing to attend the match should enter via Gate A on Driver Avenue.
